Audience Profile.

Charlie is 19 and lives in London. He has taken a gap year after his A-Levels and is working at a HMV music shop in the centre of the town. The shop stocks a whole range of music CD's. He had been going to the shop as a customer for several years before applying for a job there during his A-Levels. He has a particular interest in Indie Music, including indie rock artists such as Kaiser chiefs and also Arctic Monkeys. Working in a music shop he sponges music knowledge in all genres, whether its up and coming bands and artists or popular music such as Two Door Cinema Club. He regularly goes to see his favourite artists when he can and takes inspiration from there styles. He likes meeting up with friends, and travels to see his old friends in Leicestershire as much as possible. He is always using social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter where he also follows his favorite bands to keep up to date with there music, he finds out about a lot of the gigs he goes to through these sites. He attended Reading festival last year and is planning to go again with all of his college friends next year. His fashion reflects his favored style of music taste. When working he wears a uniform given to him buy the shop manager which he customizes to his own style. He tends to buy a lot of music magazines also where he pics up a lot of style inspiration and new songs. He uses Spotify to listen to music when he is out and about and pays £10 a month to have this software on his phone. When watching music video he tends to use YouTube either on his laptop or sometimes on his mobile. He plans to go to university in London and to hopefully develop his interest in music studying media. He is also good friends with an up and coming band in London and often goes to his concerts.
